VSA Championships
Vermont State Swimming Championships are held in White River Junction Vermont at Upper Valley Aquatic Center the first weekend in August. They are a fun and exciting event that gathers the fastest summer swimmers from all over Vermont State. Participation is a great way to celebrate a season of summer swimming.
For 2025 they are on: Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd.
This meet has time standards that must be met in order to participate. If a swimmer makes a time cut in 1 event, then they are allowed to swim up to 4 bonus events in events they have not yet made the time standard in. Over the 2 day meet swimmers are allowed to participate in 5 individual events and 2 relays.
Also in order to be eligible to compete with the team at the State Championships the swimmer has to have swum at least 2 meets with the team in the regular season.
VSA Championship Time Standards
8&Unders and 9-10 year olds are in the morning sessions and 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18 are in the afternoon sessions. Please see the order of events link below.
The State Championships are a lot of fun, if you choose to stay over night, and want a place to stay many people choose to stay close to UVAC at Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn.
