Hi Team-

Great Meet last night! It was so fun to get to coach swimmers at the first real meet of the season. I have included results. They are also available in real time on your swimtopia app (plug to get the Swimtopia app). Also it will give you notification when your swimmer is scheduled to race next and their heats and lanes right there organized for you without someone having to search through names on the athlete check-in Sheets.

A great way to use your Swimtopia app is to sign-up for meets, like Vergennes! Another fun away meet! You have 15 mins left to sign up for the meet as soon as I send this email. Time to get in on the party of the week! No more waiting, commit on the sign-ups and the job front! We need one more timer for each shift and more officials (official officials and apprentice officials). Vergennes is low on meet helpers.

I can't fault them because we are also low on overall helpers as well. This Friday fun may be without a snack if we don't have anyone volunteer to help set-up and serve. We have a lot of other swim team tasks to start planning as well, that will not happen if someone doesn't take them on. We have a few volunteers that have been doing it forever and they are looking to phase out. So awards, banquet co-ordination, Buddy bags for League Champs, other miscellaneous events all need help in a big way, so sign-up today. 

Thanks everyone! I will send out a meet email to those signed up for the meet around 2pm tomorrow with all the details of the meet. For away meets we arrive at 5:15pm with our arms all marked up with event numbers, heats, and lanes. Second warm-up means no mark-up time. Timers and officials meetings are always around 5:40pm, the location is announced at the pool. Other jobs like bullpen report to me and the bullpen around 5:50pm to get a brief briefing and start organizing the 10&under relays.
