Email Number 1,046- Some of your Questions Answered Here!
Hi Team-
I hope you all are having a great night. Thanks to all those who helped out last night and made it such a fun night for all. I have included results attached to this email for all those who are curious.
I have been told that my emails are too long so in the interest of wrapping it up, I will give you the pertinent details short and fast.
Tomorrow Family Night @ 5:30pm. Bring your own picnic dinner. We will have an ice cream truck available if you wish to purchase a sweet treat. Please join us for a casual night with family relays and aquatic games. I haven’t even bothered to check the weather, that is too next level for me. I just assume one of you will let me know if there is anything on the horizon that I need to worry about.
Saturday Distance Meet in St. Albans. I have 58 athletes registered and I have included entries for you to look over. Send me seed times if you have them from winter swimming. Also still need jobs filled. I need a second shift timer and a second shift lane shepherd. I also need 2 more S&T officials and I already recruited my husband. So please sign-up if you can help. The projected timeline of the meet is to arrive at 8am and leave sometime before 12:30-1pm.
States and League Championships. As wild as it sounds we are getting to the end of our very short season and events are happening fast and furious. Please reach out to me if you have any questions on events or if your child has qualified or not. Both League and State Champs require a 2 dual meet participation with your team in order to attend. League Champs has no time standards, just the meet attendance requirement. State Champs has time standard requirements and the meet requirement. All of this seems really confusing at first, so any of us coaches or experienced parents are happy to talk you through all of it. It would be awesome to have a full squad of people going to the League and State Meet, they are great meets and a good way to wrap up the season.
That is it for tonight. I am sure I am missing something but no worries I will send another email or 2 tomorrow, that is certain. Take care all and see you at the pool!
Coach Hilary
