Hi Team-

We have a home meet against Winooski tomorrow. I am not even going to mention anything about the weather and hope for the best. This week has really been anyone's guess as far as the forecast goes. We are going to re-schedule the TEST meet for next Tuesday.

For tomorrow, I want us all to arrive by 4:30 to snap a team picture before we get in for warm-ups at 5pm. Please have your swimmers bring their team shirts. 

Please remember to park at Gutterson (map of the 3 minute route to BTC included below) so we can leave space for other patrons of the club and for the away team.

I will have heat sheets published by 3ish. Have your sharpies ready.

Please look at the job list, we still have some key roles that need filling like 5 second shift timers and 1 bullpen person for each the first and the second shift. 

If you are apprenticing for stroke and turn officials this could be a good meet to do it at. Please sign up for it.

Also on the horizon, make sure you declare whether your swimmer plans on attending League Champs in Winooski next Friday and Saturday! I have entries due by the end of this weekend! So get excited!

Special Note: 

If you have a business you want to advertise in the digital Champlain Valley Swim League Program, it is 100 dollars and our team is responsible for at least 1. Teams may submit artwork for a ¼ page ad in the league digital program and the CVSL championship meet webpage. Artwork should be submitted to [email protected] no later than July 22. Artwork should meet the following specifications: resolution = 790 pixels wide x 225 pixels tall at 200-300 DPI. Acceptable file formats: JPG, PNG, PDF. 

Money from these ad sales help support our League running these meets and creating a fun championship experience for our kids. So the more ads I sell, the more we can help create a sustainable future for the program. Also money helps defray the cost associated with the host team running Leagues, therefore checks are made out to Winooski Waves c/o City of Winooski.
