Hi Distance Meet Participants-

I wanted to send out an email with final details. I am getting really excited to see our swimmers challenge themselves with longer events! As those of you who attended Tuesday's meet remember it was very muddy on the pool deck and in the parking lot. The catastrophic rain on Wednesday did not improve that situation, therefore swimmers will be hanging out in the hockey arena directly behind the pool and then go to the pool deck when their event is being seeded. Parents and spectators are only allowed on deck if they have a volunteer position at the meet, otherwise you will view from the bleachers. I have attached a list of jobs to this email if you need to double check what you signed up for. We are mostly good on jobs with the exception of stroke and turn officials. We need 2 and have zero so if you have taken your exam and are ready to apprentice now would be a good time to do that. Nicole Chance is holding a clinic before the start of the meet to count as part of your apprenticing requirements. 

Warm-up is at 8:20am so please arrive at 8am. Middlebury asked us to park across from the court house right near the pool on Mahady Ct. You go straight across through the traffic circle (I guess it's called a traffic circle) after waiting for the red light. There is also parking at Mary Hogan Elementary School and it's a short walk across the grass to the pool. 

Heat sheets will be published around 9pm- so you can print your own or browse them on your app at that time. Thanks everyone and see you all bright and early tomorrow! Go BTC!
