Hello BTC Swim Team Families From the Swim Committee:

On Tuesday, August 1, we will have our end-of-season swim team banquet from 5:30-7:30 PM. The banquet will start with a potluck dinner and will end with the awards ceremony.

You can sign up for your potluck dishes using this LINK. Remember to bring your own plates, utensils, beverages, and chairs/picnic blankets. The rain date will be Thursday, 8/3.

Our swim team banquet is also a time to thank our coaching staff for their enthusiasm and hard work this season. Some families have mentioned wanting to give cards or monetary gifts. This is completely optional.

If you are interested in either of those two options, please continue reading the information outlined below. There is no obligation to contribute to these options. We understand that many families may choose to express their gratitude in their own way to their coaches.

Cards/Notes

We will have a collection bin for gratitude cards/notes/handmade art on one of the picnic tables during morning practices next week and during the banquet. Your swimmer can bring a card from home or make a card before or after practices. Make sure to put the coach’s name on the card/note/art.

Gifts

If you are planning to give a monetary gift, you can give cash, check or Venmo to the Swim Team Committee. We will take this collection and distribute it among the coaches. Please give any cash or checks to Kelly Melasky or Emily McLean by Tuesday, August 1 by 12 PM. We will be at Leagues this weekend (Kelly in AM session and Emily in PM session).
