Leagues Tomorrow
Good meet tonight, I am getting excited for tomorrow. Please familiarize yourself with your jobs that you signed up for. The schedule might have changed. Doing an official job at the meet is the only way you can be on deck, otherwise you need to be in the bleachers or swimmer tent/team area.
A few reminders:
For the morning session we need more timers and if we have any certified officials we could use 2 officials for Stroke and Turn for the morning session.
Check in with me if you are able to time or officiate in the morning. The meet will be delayed if we have to go recruit.
For the afternoon we are in need of 2 Bullpen Helpers.
Please check in with me if you can help with Bullpen in the afternoon.
Important Meet Helper Meetings:
Official's meeting @ 7:15am (45 mins before start of session) 1:15pm for afternoon
Timer's meeting @ 7:40am (20 mins before start of session) 1:40pm for afternoon
Bullpen meeting @ 7:45am (15 mins before start of session) 1:45pm for afternoon
All other jobs show up for 7:50am (10 mins before start of session) 1:50am for afternoon
All jobs except for officials should check in at the volunteer tent as soon as possible. Parents do not need to wait if they check in early, simply show up to their assigned job at the time outlined above.
Swimmers are not permitted to hang around on deck tomorrow. They may definitely check in with coaches, but will otherwise be shooed away if they loiter. Also it is ultimately the responsibility of the swimmer to get to the bullpen on time. The bullpen will have the ability to call events, but they will not be responsible for tracking down missing swimmers.
This is a bigger meet, the bullpen is a little different the meet program contains all necessary details, please read it over.
Our warm ups are 7:20am for the morning session please arrive in Vergennes ready to swim at 7am.
Our warm ups for the afternoon session are at 12p, please arrive in Vergennes ready to swim at 11:40am.
Thanks and see a lot of you tomorrow at some point. Get a good nights' rest, bring lots of water, and sunscreen.
Hilary
